Animal ID: 01-072014-38Jax (male)
Meet Jax. This beautiful boy was on the E-list at the county shelter because of an injured hind leg. We received reports about how wonderful this boy is from folks who knew him when he had a home, but we were unsuccessful in locating his former owner, after exhaustive attempts. Reports indicated that he is fabulous with all adults, children, and other dogs - we were inspired by his attitude, given the excruciating pain he was in. The bones in his back left leg were far too damaged to repair and amputation was the only option. The AMAZING Jax doesn't seem to have missed a beat since surgery. He is recovering beautifully, and is a happy, happy ... (Read More)boy now. A HUGE thank you to the surgeon for giving this boy much needed relief. Now that we've taken away the pain of a shattered leg, we hope to take away the pain of homelessness. It is very obvious that this boy was once a well loved fella with very good manners - we want that for him again. Jax is house trained, knows his commands and does GREAT with children and other dogs - check out his video! (Less) Arizona Center for Homeless Animals 4015 E. Cactus Rd.
